For the three images that I selected, I chose ones that represented me in different ways. The first shows my love of Disney, the second shows my love of coffee, and the third just shows my love of being happy and having fun.
For me personally, I don't like to do a lot of hand drawn things for my work, so this was a little bit of a challenge. I chose to leave out the details of the face for mine because it just wasn't turning out how I wanted it to and I like the minimalist look without it. For the first digital illustration, I chose to keep with the theme of the dots and make that one the same way but in Photoshop. The second I used the method that I prefer and life to use the most, which is using the pen tool in Illustrator. Lastly, I used photoshop again and used the brush tool to create small strokes like a painting almost.
While I don't prefer to use pencil and paper, it is of course to get that practice in and get better at it. I do love the end results of the images that I did and I think they turned out pretty well. I'm not much into painting at all, but I am excited to try out watercolors in the next project.
