For this project I chose to use images that I found off the internet. I chose profiles of all women because I wanted to show the various ways women can look. This particular style is definitely not my favorite, I find it kind of difficult to execute, but I of course liked putting it back into digital form.
I chose to keep with the short strokes for the digital interpretations, but to obviously add color within it as well. I wanted to use a black background to make it look a little more vibrant and also more of a neon sort of look. I think by using the black background it makes everything pop more and draws your eyes to the different parts. I especially like how my hair comes out on the dark back.
For me personally, I find that this method makes everything look a little off. It is probably not my preferred way of executing illustrations, I think I definitely prefer traditional smooth lines.
